Rights

In the Rights module, roles such as 'HR', 'Administration', etc. are created. You can then link these roles to users. For example, you can ensure that someone with the HR role is only allowed to access vacancies. Once you have created the roles, you can then assign them to users.

Please note: the permissions given to someone is the sum of the roles. So if you have the roles 'HR' and also 'Administration', you are allowed everything HR and Administration are allowed.

Administrator and User

The roles 'Administrator' and 'User' are standard in the CMS. Both are allowed everything on all pages and modules (they are also editor-in-chief in this, see below). The difference between an administrator and user is that an administrator may also manage (create, modify and delete) other users.

Please note: An administrator may therefore manage other users. This means that if you create someone with these rights, they can change/remove the rights of you or others.
